I've lost all my car keys. Do I need to tow my car to your shop?

No towing is required. Our technicians will come to your specified location. We use professional equipment to unlock your vehicle damage-free and provide the complete key service on-site. This saves you towing fees and prevents any potential damage to your car during transport.

My car has been parked for a long time and the battery is likely dead. Do I still need to tow it?

No, you don't. We carry all the necessary equipment to jump-start or power your vehicle, allowing us to complete the key programming process right where it is parked.

I lost my only key, my car is parked by the road, and it's an emergency outside normal working hours. Can you help?

Yes. For after-hours emergencies (such as nights, early mornings, weekends, or public holidays), as long as you contact us in advance and approve the quote, we can dispatch someone to assist you.

I currently only have one key. Can you provide a spare key kit for me?

Yes. Just let us know your vehicle's make, year, and starting method (e.g., push-to-start). We will bring our equipment to your location for the key service. It's not just a simple copy; the new physical key will restore almost all the functions of your original key (specific exceptions may apply depending on the make and year, please consult our support team).

My previous smart key had keyless entry (touch the door handle to unlock). Will the new key have these features?

For most models across major brands, if your previous key had smart features, your new smart key kit will have them too. We don't just duplicate; we ensure almost all of your original smart functions are fully restored.

When you provide the key service, will you delete the lost key's data? If someone finds it, can they use it?

If your vehicle uses a smart system, we can program your car's ECU to unrecognize the lost keys. The system will be securely configured to only recognize the specific key(s) you currently have.

I am located outside of Auckland. Can you still provide your key service?

Currently, we primarily serve the Auckland area. If you are in a more remote location, please contact our customer service to see if an on-site visit is possible. However, in most cases, we do not travel out of town for service.

I am very busy, working all day and constantly moving. How can we arrange a time and place?

We are highly flexible. We can provide the key service at:
  • Your workplace
  • Your home driveway
  • Public parking lots

I don't like the look of my current smart key. Can I upgrade to a cooler style when getting a new one?

Yes. We stock a variety of smart key shapes from different generations for most brands. As long as the hardware is compatible with your vehicle, you can choose from multiple shapes and colors to suit your preference.

I need my insurance company to pay for the lost keys. Can you provide a quote for them?

Absolutely. We are a professional locksmith company with years of experience. Tell us the details, and we can issue a professional quote for your insurance claim. In most cases, the quoted price is final. However, extra charges may apply if unforeseen issues arise, such as:
  • The vehicle's ECU is damaged.
  • It is a recovered stolen vehicle with compromised security systems.
